just finished watching my first ever star wars movies today (the first trilogy IV-VI) and it was alr ig. ok so let me get one thing clear. ive never rlly thought star wra swould be my sort of thing. like my parents would constantly try to put me on star wars but apparently i just refused soooooo yeah. and honetsly yeah i was right its not exactly as AMAZING as everyone says it is. its good dont get me wrong but ive just seen much better movies. but there is one thing that i absolutley LOVED which was the WORLD of star wars rather than the plot. i LOVE the mix between super sci-fi shit and the rlly dirty and naturual buildings, cloths and cities.
idk why but this vibe is just rlly unique and ive never seen any other piece of media do this before. idk rlly know how to properly describe it but yk what i mean right? my focus was not rlly on the plot but on the envirenments and set pieces bc they made it so much cooler.
the story was rlly confusing to understand in episode IV which makes sense obviously bc i dont have ANY context from episodes I-III whhich is probably why. i honestly dont have much to say tho bc as i said it was just alr ig. but i am rlly excited to know the context of WHY exactly the empire is bad. like ik WHY bc their power hungry and shit bc idk WHY if that makes sense but thatll probaly be answered in episodes I-III.
